Parent presentation by Sheldon Sweeney and Suzanne Burke
Topic: Financial Strategies and Estate Planning for Parents April 27, 2022 5:30-7pm Special Services is hosting Sheldon Sweeny, Snider Financial Group and Suzanne Burke, from Assure Law Group on Wednesday, April 27th from 5:30-7pm. Mr. Sweeny and Ms. Burke will be presenting on the topic of Financial Strategies and Estate Planning. There are three Phases of Family Life, based on age, for a child with special needs: Pre-Guardianship, Post-Guardianship, and Independent Living. Each phase has its own unique financial challenges. However, with proper planning, parents/guardians can hopefully find peace, knowing that their child’s financial well-being is protected throughout their life span as well as in the event of an unforeseen life change. We will discuss the resources available to you and have an open conversation where you can ask questions and/or share life experiences. Free to all who would like to join. Due to current labor and supply chain conditions, there will be reduced variety of lunch menu items for the time being. Beginning Monday, November 15, lunches will be provided in a “kit” consisting of yogurt, string cheese, crackers, breakfast bar, fresh fruit, vegetable and choice of 1% white or fat free chocolate milk. We anticipate conditions to improve soon and will be moving back to the typical lunch menu at that time. Lunches remain free for all students during the 2021-22 school year. More information about school lunch can be found here. |
