The UW Autism Center, The Arc of King County and Ryther are sponsoring the following online meeting this Thursday. I am going to guess that this could turn into a regular event if they get enough interest.

Come hang out with us via Zoom video chat! We are facilitating a (FREE) virtual space for Autistic adults and kids to hang out, have fun, and build community. Our first meeting is a “show and tell”. Show and tell us about yourself, your current interest, a favorite object, something you made/did recently, or a topic of your choice! RSVP below.

If you identify as Autistic, you are welcome here.
If you are Autistic and would like to attend with your Autistic child, please RSVP for one adult and one child.
We have capacity to host about 10 people for this first meetup, and we’d like to have a good ratio of Autistic adults to non-adults. If we receive more RSVPs than we have room for, we will start a waiting list.

Hello Families, I wanted to let you know that I will try to be present at your child's conference. If I am unable to attend due to a schedule conflict and you would like to speak to me about your child's progress, please let me know and we can schedule another time to meet.
I am moving to a quieter office. My new room will be Rm 152 across from the downstairs Kindergarten bathroom.

Support our school by participating!
Hello 4th Grade parents. This will be the second year I have worked with your child in some capacity. I am looking forward to continuing our wonderful educational journey together. This year I have moved my base to an office Rm. 124 which is downstairs near the music room. This means I will spend little time at my desk and will be working with students throughout the school. The best way to contact me is by email. If it is more urgent, please feel free to contact the main office and they will page me. I am very excited about the new school year and seeing how much your child has grown.
Power Packs - Food for the Weekend!
Sunny Hills is partnering with the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank to provide Power Packs - a free program that provides students non-perishable breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack foods for the weekend throughout the school year. Students who sign up will receive a pack of food each Friday morning from our School Counselor, Celina Schulenberg.
Register to receive a power pack here: Power Pack Sign-Up .
You can also reach out to Ms. Schulenberg directly with questions or to sign-up.
Have a wonderful winter break. I will see you next year!
