The UW Autism Center, The Arc of King County and Ryther are sponsoring the following online meeting this Thursday. I am going to guess that this could turn into a regular event if they get enough interest.
Link to shareable Facebook Post: https://www.facebook.com/uwautismcenter/posts/1321971281319332 DESCRIPTION Come hang out with us via Zoom video chat! We are facilitating a (FREE) virtual space for Autistic adults and kids to hang out, have fun, and build community. Our first meeting is a “show and tell”. Show and tell us about yourself, your current interest, a favorite object, something you made/did recently, or a topic of your choice! RSVP below. DATE + TIME Thursday, April 2, 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm RSVP LINK CHILD/TEEN | https://forms.gle/qZEJWKwy9R6wb8vQ8 ADULT | https://forms.gle/8NGN5X2ir4NCMKFn9 CONTACT Contact uwacpsy@uw.edu for more information ADDITIONAL DETAILS If you identify as Autistic, you are welcome here. If you are Autistic and would like to attend with your Autistic child, please RSVP for one adult and one child. We have capacity to host about 10 people for this first meetup, and we’d like to have a good ratio of Autistic adults to non-adults. If we receive more RSVPs than we have room for, we will start a waiting list. Sponsored by the UW Autism Center, The Arc of King County, and Ryther Warmly, Katy Granath
