At this point of the year we are focusing on getting down the routine and relearning expectations. I am excited to see what this school year brings. Go Mustangs! In Kindergarten Social, we will be working on Zones of Regulation and creating a book on Mondays. This will take us a few weeks to complete but I am excited to see the results!!

We will be beginning a unit on kindness and talk about what it means to be kind. December 20th I hope everyone has a wonderful break. See you next year! September/ October
We have been working this fall on what a successful morning routine looks like. We talked about where to look in the classroom for morning news (usually on the digital white board) and what jobs are expected of them each morning. We also worked on what it looks like to be an active learner in different settings. November We worked on hands to self and read Hands Are Not For Hitting . We talked about all the different uses we have for our hands Discussed the proper way to ask and take a break. December Used images to review what an active learner looks like. We reviewed and practiced how to walk in a line. Check out my Resource page for images I use during my lessons! |
